Lifting Grips by GymPaws® Are Better!

  • The Genuine LEATHER front of these lifting grips are slightly padded.  It’s just enough to reduce the pressure and friction of a heavy lift or grueling workout.
  • Gym Paws Weight Lifting Grips stay in place thanks to a unique 4 Finger Loop Neoprene Backing.  The last thing you want is a grip that slips!
  • Big bulky weightlifting gloves don’t allow air to circulate which causes your hand to sweat!  GymPaws Lifting Grips wick away sweat. Neoprene is the same material Scuba Diving suits are made from!
  • Your shoes are made from Leather because it’s the most durable material while still allowing movement.  GymPaws Lifting Grips will stand up to the toughest workouts – and “break in” just for you!

You don’t lift weights with the back of your hands – and you don’t need to worry about excess material that restricts the rest of you hands!  Gym Paws Leather Lifting Grips fit right in the palm of your hands – to ease the friction between your hands and the weights!

For Beginners:  If you’re new to the weight room and weight lifting, you may not have tried a lifting grip before.  For newbies, it’s likely that your hands (and your grip) is going to fatigue far before the body part your training gets exhausted.  Having a Lifting Grip that can help ease fatigue will help you get the most out of your workouts.

For GymRats:  You’re no stranger to the gym – and you’ve got the physique to show it! GymPaws® Lifting Grips not only replace the those ancient weightlifting gloves you’ve been using – they may just help you pump out a couple extra reps while you’re blasting biceps or chiseling chest!

Great for Rowing

Really enjoy these gloves. Breathable, effective, and look good! Had to buy another only because I lost my other pair - so they're also durable!

Way better than gymnastic or leather weight gloves

Oct 18, 2015 by Sergio Sumner

I ordered these gloves and they are some of the best I have ever tried. I workout hard. Crossfit, heavy strength training, and serious lifts that normally tear up your hands. With these gloves I can do a round of 100 pullups without any discomfort. Great design and it uses a soft material that is smooth on your hands unlike normal leather gloves that tend to bunch up.

After a few months of heavy use there is some wear showing on the gloves but they are still in tact and the leather grip is great for deadlifts. If you are a serious lifter, give it a try.

Perfect for Machines

Oct 01, 2014 by Mandy

When I go to the gym, I use the machines not the weights. These are perfect for grabbing and pulling on the bars and handles on the different machines. My hands are not used to hard labor or a lot of working out, or doing dishes, or really doing much of anything, so they get sore and blistered pretty quickly. These are great because they aren't hot and sweaty like gloves, but they protect me where I need it most. I also use them for carrying heavy bags and other things that cut into my fingers.
They're really durable and real leather. The woman's size is too small for me, I have large hands for a woman. So keep that in mind when ordering if you have big paws like I do, go with the men's.

Better Than Traditional Gloves

Nov 03, 2013 by Steve in MN

I've been a lifter for around 20 years. It's the salvation for my sanity and my primary personal maintenance outlet, i.e. it's a big deal to me. So that's where I'm coming from.

I've gone barehanded most of the time, but lately I've been fighting off tendonitis which is affecting my grip strength, ergo I have been using gloves for the first time in many years. Immediately upon investing in new gloves I was reminded of something I had forgotten about since the last iteration--most lifting gloves suck.

I am not enchanted with most lifting gloves because they are fairly thickly padded. The thick padding **reduces** my grip strength because it increases the functional diameter of the bar, making it even harder to firmly grip. What I really want is a very thin glove with a slightly tacky palm and fingers. And I'm not doing well finding that.

These grips come very close to my ideal. They are easy to put on and remove, they don't bunch up in the palm, they breath well (obviously), they don't get crusty in my bag, and they provide an improved grip. Which is what I want.

Flexible With Enough Padding

Nov 01, 2013 by Scott Chambers

Was getting tired of the callouses and chalk all over me so I bought a pair of these to try out and found them to be very helpful. They fit on the hand very easily and don't get in the way and don't look so obvious when wearing them. The padding is enough to still be able to feel the bar and flexible enough to get a grip without needing to squeeze harder to compensate.

Great For Lifting - Body Pump Class

Oct 26, 2013 by Bug 313

I bought these Gym Glove Alternatives because I was getting callused hands from taking a Body Pump weight lifting class. I was also wanting something to give me extra grip after I started sweating. Full gloves seemed to intense for me since I'm not lifting super heavy weights and just felt like they'd be too "showy" - I like these because they protect my hands but are a bit more discreet. They are a little thicker/more padded than I thought they would be - took a bit to adjust me grip to accommodate, but I still much prefer lifting with them than without. If a "thin" version were created, I would buy those in a heartbeat. Overall, I definitely feel these are worth the purchase and like them better than gloves.
