Available for iPhone or Android users the Nike+ training club app boasts over 100 workout to choose from including everything from a 5 minute Burpee Beach workout to a HIIT (high intensity interval training) cardio routine that will leaving you dripping in sweat. Crossfit fans will appreciate this fitness app especially because of the minimul space / equipment requirements. You'll still feel like your personal trainer or Crossfit coach is right beside you thanks to the built in timer with voice over cues and exercise demo videos. While some fitness apps only focus on weightlifting or bodyweight work, we were pleased to see the Nike+ Training Club Fitness App review included options for core workouts (to sculpt those abs) as well as stretching routines.
The workouts are designed by professional athletes and personal trainers so it's safe to say each exercise has been vetted. However, if you are working in the gym with a personal trainer on a regular basis, it might be a good idea to review some of the workouts with him or her before you travel, to ensure that your non gym workouts keep you on course to reach your health and fitness goals!
