High Protein Breakfast Burrito – Healthy Recipes to Build Muscle
high-protein-breakfast-burrito-gym-pawsFor year's we've heard that breakfast is the most important meal of the day.  While that theory has it's defenders and it's critics, who doesn't like starting their day with a yummy breakfast?  Here's one of my favorite healthy recipes to build muscle, a High Protein Breakfast Burrito.   It's easy to make, fills you up, and is packed with that oh so important Protein to help you build muscle!
Ingredients are pretty simple 4 Egg Whites and 1 whole Egg About 2 tablespoons of Salsa 2 Tablespoons of Cilantro - use fresh or dried 2 ounzes of cubed ham steak (you can buy this in your meat section by the ground beef usually) Low Fat Cheddar Cheeze - about 1/8 of a cup 8″ whole wheat or multi grain tortilla I like to add about 1/4 cup of Fresh Mushrooms Directions: Spray your skillet with some non stick cooking spray and pour in the eggs and egg whites (beaten).  Once underway add the cilantro, mushroom, and ham. You can also add salt and pepper to taste. Place your high protein concoction in your tortilla and top with salsa and cheese.  This is going to make a BIG burrito!  If you can't fit it all, just scoop the rest and eat as is! Number of Servings: 1  Calories: 400 Protein: 42g
